UK/EU Fulfillment Upgrades
TLDR:
- Fulfillment centers in the UK and EU are coming soon!
- It will reduce unexpected import duties, taxes and fees from Sphinx.
- It does mean I will be shutting down my current fulfillment from the US until October when the first shipment of MagVaults come into the warehouses.
- This warehouse will have limited previous products, but it will have all future ones.
- Thanks for your feedback to make the Sphinx Customer experience better😊
I’m very excited to share that Sphinx Stationery is officially partnering with GamesQuest to support future fulfillments for both the EU and UK.
This means that moving forward, I’ll be able to better serve EU and UK customers through fulfillment centers based in both regions. The goal is to make ordering from Sphinx smoother, faster, and much less stressful when it comes to import taxes, customs duties, and unexpected fees.
So, what does this mean?
Because of this transition, I’ll be shutting down current shipping to the EU and UK for a longer period while everything is being set up properly, with the first shipment into the warehouse expected in October. However, I will still be accepting pre-orders for those regions (soon, I have to do some tech integrations first, but please do be on the lookout or get on my email list when it's back online for preorders!). These orders will simply be placed on hold until the new fulfillment system is ready to ship them locally.
Future Sphinx products will be stocked in the UK and EU warehouses, including my upcoming Kickstarter project, Lorekeeper. This means Lorekeeper will not run into the same unexpected import fee issues that some MagVault customers experienced.
Previous products may have more limited availability in the UK and EU warehouses, at least at first, but I think that is okay. Sphinx is growing into a more bespoke brand identity, and this new setup allows me to focus on future releases in a way that is much more sustainable and customer-friendly.
Thank You🫵
Thank you so much to everyone who reached out, shared their experience, and gave me the information I needed to make this better. Your feedback helped shape this decision, and I’m really grateful.
More details will be coming soon, but for now, I’m very happy to say that EU and UK fulfillment is getting a much-needed upgrade!
