Shipping Policy

Order Processing

In-stock orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Processing times may be extended during product launches, pre-order fulfilment periods, high-volume sales, postal disruptions, or other circumstances communicated on our website or by email.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.

Pre-order items will be shipped once stock has arrived at the relevant regional fulfilment hub. Any estimated fulfilment dates provided for pre-orders are estimates only and may be affected by production, freight, customs, or warehouse delays.

Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

You may request an address change by contacting support@sphinxstationery.com before your order has been dispatched. We cannot guarantee that address changes can be made once an order has entered the fulfilment process.

Once an order has shipped, you may need to contact the carrier directly to request an address correction or redirection. Any additional carrier, redelivery, return-to-sender, or reshipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.

If an order is returned to us because the address provided was incorrect, incomplete, unclaimed, or undeliverable, we may arrange reshipment once the parcel has been received and processed. Additional shipping charges will apply.

Original shipping costs and any import fees paid are non-refundable.

Shipping Hubs

Orders are fulfilled through regional hubs where available. The hub used for your order may depend on your delivery location, stock availability, product availability, and whether the item is part of a pre-order.

United States Hub

The United States hub services orders to:

  • United States
  • Canada

Orders delivered within the United States are generally shipped domestically.

Canadian orders are shipped from the United States and may be subject to import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other customs charges upon arrival. These charges are not included in the shipping fee paid at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer.

Australia Hub

The Australia hub services orders to:

  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Selected countries within Asia

Orders delivered within Australia are generally shipped domestically.

Orders sent to New Zealand or other international destinations may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges, or carrier fees upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

United Kingdom Hub

The United Kingdom hub services orders to:

  • The United Kingdom
  • Norway
  • Switzerland

Orders fulfilled and delivered within the United Kingdom are intended to avoid international import charges for the customer. Availability may depend on stock having arrived at the UK fulfilment centre.

Norway and Switzerland

Norway and Switzerland are not members of the European Union and are therefore not covered by EU domestic fulfilment arrangements.

Orders to Norway and Switzerland will generally be fulfilled from the United Kingdom. This is expected to provide lower shipping costs and faster delivery than shipping from the United States.

However, orders may still be subject to import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees, handling charges, or other fees upon arrival. These charges are determined by the destination country and the relevant carrier or customs authority.

Any import-related charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping fee paid at checkout.

European Union Hub

The European Union hub services orders delivered to countries within the European Union.

Where stock is available locally, EU orders will be fulfilled from within the European Union. This is intended to provide faster regional delivery and reduce unexpected customs, brokerage, and import charges.

Availability may depend on stock having arrived at the EU fulfilment centre.

Import Duties and Taxes

Where an order crosses an international customs border, the recipient may be required to pay import duties, VAT, sales taxes, brokerage fees, handling charges, or other customs-related costs.

Unless otherwise clearly stated at checkout, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee.

Sphinx Stationery does not control or determine these charges and cannot provide a guaranteed estimate of the amount that may be payable. Customs policies and thresholds vary between countries.

Customers are responsible for checking the import requirements that apply in their destination country before placing an order.

Refusing to pay import charges may result in the shipment being abandoned, destroyed, or returned to sender. Any resulting return, handling, customs, or reshipping costs may be deducted from an eligible refund.

Delivery Times

Delivery estimates begin from the date your order is dispatched, not the date your order is placed.

International delivery generally takes approximately 2–4 weeks from the date of shipment, although delivery times may vary depending on the destination, shipping service, customs processing, local postal networks, and other circumstances outside our control.

Regional fulfilment is intended to provide faster and more reliable delivery, but delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Tracking Your Order

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing a tracking number.

Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to become available after receiving your shipping confirmation.

Tracking updates are provided by the carrier. In some cases, tracking may not update while a parcel is in transit between countries or awaiting customs processing.

If your tracking has not updated for an extended period, or your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, please contact us at support@sphinxstationery.com with your name and order number.

Delayed, Lost, or Returned Orders

Postal and courier delays can occasionally occur.

If a shipment appears delayed, we may ask you to allow additional time for delivery or contact the carrier before a parcel can be treated as lost.

Orders returned because they were unclaimed, refused, incorrectly addressed, or subject to unpaid import charges may be eligible for reshipment once received and processed. Additional shipping and handling charges will apply.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, carriers, incorrect delivery information, unpaid import charges, severe weather, industrial action, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and returned in its original condition.

Eligible refunds will exclude original shipping charges, return shipping costs, import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other charges paid to third parties.

If your order arrives damaged, please email support@sphinxstationery.com as soon as possible and include:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

Damage claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution.
