Dice tray got me nearly sued by a multi BILLION dollar company

So what do you do when you catch the wrong kind of attention from a multi-billion dollar company? I found out! And the answer is: you cry.

Phew, what a week...

I’m not going to lie, this past week has been one of the most stressful of my life and I did not stay calm, cool or collected. I dove headfirst into the world of patent law, read through more legal documents than I ever thought I would, and shed a few (okay, more than a few) tears along the way.

💡 The Good News

The project isn’t dead!
I’ll need to redesign the tray portion, but once that’s done, we should be completely in the clear with no more surprise legal drama.

🛠️ The Not-So-Good News

That redesign means we’re going back to prototype version 1, which unfortunately pushes the timeline back. I don’t have a firm date yet, but I promise to keep you in the loop every step of the way — transparency is super important to me.
